Una cifra considerevole, che il settimanale britannico The Economist ha voluto stimare.
Si parla di circa 60 milioni di dollari fino al 2016 e, quindi, oltre 70 ad oggi.
Una sola canzone garantisce circa 2,5 milioni di dollari ogni dicembre all’artista. Si tratta di un brano che ha raggiunto la prima posizione in classifica negli Stati Uniti solo nel 2019 ma che ogni anno è un vero tormentone in questo periodo.
Secondo gli esperti tecnici, il suo successo è dovuto anche ad una virtuosa e moderna combinazione di sonorità varie e insolite di diversi strumenti, come campane tradizionali e sintetizzatori contemporanei.
